We preserve the uncommercialized heritage of Maharashtrian folk rhythms, training the next generation of youth in the rigorous coordination of Dhol, Tasha, and Dhwaj.

Aawartan is a Dhwaj pathak before a Dhol-Tasha pathak. The dhwaj is the absolute leader of the procession and the organization.
